Badoo isn’t just about a swipe, like or match, it’s about more than just that. It’s about more laughs. More butterflies. More adventures. More first times. More goosebumps. And maybe the start of something more than just a date.
On a mission to attract a younger audience and penetrate the competitive UK market, Badoo, underwent a huge redesign to modernise the 10 year old global app.
As the lead copywriter I developed a new tone of voice to give the global brand a fresh, new voice with a whole lot more feeling. I then led the integration of copy across the app’s UX by working with the designers and developers.
I also worked closely with the in-house marketing team to create a new brand strap line, logo and relaunch campaign, to get one of the world’s biggest dating apps you’ve never heard of, heard.
